The PEM® miniature stud takes advantage of all the features of self-clinching technology even on small components where space is at a premium and on sheets from a thickness of just 0.5 mm Manufactured from rust-resistant steel (A286), they are highly resistant to corrosion. A further special feature is the chamfer at the end of the stud, which helps make it easy to position it in the drill-hole. Used in stainless steel sheet and other metallic materials, they guarantee secure and flush insertion.

These tiny items are available in diameters from 1.0 to 2.0 mm and lengths from 2.0 mm to 10.0 mm. The MPP™ can also be integrated in an automatic insertion process, thus eliminating the problems which arise with handling such small components. The PEM® type MPP™ miniature studs are primarily used in electronics, optics, medical and communications technology.
